Summer So Far

It's been a while, so I apologize.

Well, Last week I was at scout camp and I really realized how much my friends mean to me because I was really missing you guys(and gals*). I worked on four merit badges: Enviromental Science, Camping, Emergency Prepardness, and Fingerprinting. I finished Enviromental Science(all week) and Fingerprinting(15 minutes). I have one requirement to do on both Camping and E. Prep.

And that week could have been a lot better. It was nice to be with Eric and Nathan the first couple of days, but, after that, they were okay to be around. Probably becuase they picked on me a whole lot.

I got back to my house on the 26 of June around 11:30 am. I was nice to have a cold shower and to watch some TV**. After my shower, my mom took my sister and me to Steven's so I could pick up the stuff I left there on June 19***.

After I got my stuff, we went to Scott's and got some muchies for the car rides ahead****. After Scott's, we went to Root's because I wanted to get a big book of Merit Badge requirements. They didn't have it but we found out Root's is having a humongo sale starting July 4.

We got back home and I packed for my trip to my Aunt Brenda and Uncle Rob's house. They live in Wisconsin. They like RPG games a lot and they're a lot of fun.

I got done packing and I was going to check my email, but never got to it.

We then headeth out towarth the yonder Pigroast. Nathan was there and so was Steven and Bryn. So, the first couple hours were really, really boring, but then during the last half and hour, Steven, Nathan and I played with these one things*****. I don't know what they were. Then, right before we left, Steven tossed a frisbe my way and I picked up a heavy wood bat to deflect it and the frisbee shattered and it was hilarious. Although, I might have to replace it.

Right after that, my family went back home and then to a gas station to rondevue with my Aunt Laurie(I would be spending the night at her house and then be picked up by the Wisconsiners). While I was there, Kenny had just gotten back from a trip to spain and he was kinda tired and so was I so we only stayed up playing until 10:30. Then I went to my bed and fell right asleep.

The alarm went off at 5:40 am so that I could get upstairs and have breakfast before kenny left. I got up and had my breakfast and then Kenny got out of his shower and made his breakfast of Cereal and we watched Doug on Nickelodeon. That show is barely on. Anyway, I said goodbye and then went to the basement and played my DS.

I then preceded upstairs to play pounce with my sister and Aunt. Pretty neat because I was going good. Then, after I won, we played hearts for a bit. Soon thereafter, the Wisconsiners arrived and had lunch with us and then we left.

We had a lot of traffic through Chicago, but other than that, it was smooth. So, we got to their house and we leave to go pick up their dogs from the place they were staying.

We got back and then Uncle Rob took Katie and I to Culver's(I think one is being built next to the Burger King and BP on Dupont, near the movie theater) to get some food for dinner. All four of us got the cheeseburger and fries combo but substituted a shake for a soda. I got mint, Katie got M&M, Aunt Brenda got Oreo, and Uncle Rob got Rasberry. Culver's burgers rock!!! They are not hard, juicy, have good flavor and are easy to eat. It practically falls off in your mouth.

Then we cleaned up dinner. Katie and I went upstairs to put our stuff in our rooms and I checked all three of my emails. Not many important stuff******

After I finished I went downstairs and we started to get characters set up for Generic Universal Role Playing System, or GURPS. I was excited about playing, but we never got past the create your character stage. It was kind of difficult for Katie to grasp, I think. We then proceded to the basement to get some stuff for GURPS and we brought up two other games: Talisman and Channel Surfing. We tried Channel Surfing, but it was boring. So we went on to Talisman.

Talisman is a RPG where you choose from premade characters and then go about on a quest for the Crown of Command. Once you acquire the crown, you can kick players out of the game until you are the only one left. Pretty fun, actually. It takes a while though.

Then, we decided to go to bed aroung 11 pm and we did. This moring, I woke up at 5:45 without an alarm. It was really weird. I did have a dream, but I forget it. And that's it.

On Thursday, we are going to Noah's Ark in the Wisconsin Dells. Then, my parents are going to be here that night and we will leave friday morning. Hopefully I will be back intime for what ever things that might be going on friday.

On Saturday morning, I plan to leave with Mr. Wulpi and Logan and I think one of his brothers(can't be sure) to Gettesburg, Pennsylvania. We plan to stay there until next Monday and then leave for the Smokey Mountains.(Hiking, YAY!! : ) Then we should be back that Friday. After that, I plan on going to my cousins house for the next week and hopefully I can work it out so that I can be back friday and saturday(15 and 16) before church camp*******.

*i refer to all my friends as one group(guys) if this offends anyone, I will gladly make up a word to refer to all y'guys ;)
My definition of guys: a group of people that you usually hang out with; close friends

**My mom was watching TV Land and it was showing shows from 20 years ago and one was F Squade and it was funny.

***I was at Steven's because my Mom and Dad were in Chicago at a confrence. They left last thursday.

****One was an hour drive to a gas station(forementioned) the other is a five hour drive to Aunt Brenda's house(also forementioned)
